Our Response to COVID-19

In light of recent worldwide events, we have a heightened awareness that our vehicles can be an essential and life sustaining aspect of our lives. In response to COVID-19, many businesses are closed, however Bergey's Auto Service and Parts operations remain open to meet the critical need of our customers who rely on access to their vehicle. This can be especially important for health care providers and other first responders, but also for families who need to get to the pharmacy or to pick up essential food supplies for their family. 


As we remain open to provide this essential service, we're committed to providing a safe environment for our customers and our workers which includes:


Concierge pick up/drop off

        •Pick up and delivery of vehicle at your home

        •Video Approvals for service work needed

        •Credit Card payments via phone


Contact-less drop-off at Dealership

        •Cleaning key drop off station every two hours

        •Recommend bring your own pen

        •Adding key drop stations in drive thru area where beneficial

        •Availability to pay by phone at the dealership, no need to hand our service rep your credit card


In-Dealership, with social distancing measure in place

        • Elimination of seats from waiting area to follow social distancing guidelines from the CDC which recommends 6' of space between individuals

        • Waiting room seats wiped down after each use

        • Taping off areas where customers interact with Bergey's staff to ensure 6' of separation per CDC guidelines

        • All communal food/beverage services have been removed from the dealership

        • Waiting area restrooms disinfected every hour 


Whether using our complimentary concierge pick up/drop off or if you'll be waiting for your vehicle, every vehicle we service will be thoroughly disinfected using OEM recommended cleaning agents, focusing on major touchpoints including:

        • Door handles

        • Steering wheel

        • Gear shifter

        • Dashboard and Radio 

        • Keys/FOBS

Car windows of vehicles in for service will be opened for a brief period (weather permitting) to increase air ventilation before and after service. 


In addition to these measures, we've enacted these operational protocols:

All of our team members have been instructed to wear gloves, with periodic gloves changes

Team members will be required to wash hands hourly

Our doors will remain open to maximize air flow (weather permitting)

All high-traffic touch points disinfected every 2 hours
